Dana Williams is a Founder and
Executive Director of The Community
Wellness Project (CWP). She has been in
the field of HIV/AIDS/STDS since 1987
and has an established history in
providing Capacity Building Assistance
(CBA) to community based and AIDS
service organizations as well as state
and local health departments around the
country. As a public health consultant,
she has extensive experience in writing,
developing, implementing and evaluating
many HIV/AIDS/STD programs and training
curriculums including; Prevention Case
Management, Effective-Street and
Community Outreach strategies, and
Community Mobilization.
Ms. Williams has years of experience in
managing Federally Funded grants and
contracts and continues to serve as a
national training partner for the Center
for Disease Control, the Office of
Minority Health and the Office of
Women's Health. Ms. Williams is a
master-level trainer for the American
Red Cross HIV/AIDS Instructor Course in
both the African American and
Fundamentals programs and is considered
a lead trainer for the Centers for
Disease Control Capacity Building
Assistance Branch (CBB) for their
Evidence Based Interventions
(EBI’s). They are: Popular Opinion
Leader (POL), Sisters
Informing Sisters about Topics on AIDS (SISTA),
Real AIDS Prevention Project (RAPP),
Defend Yourself (d-Up!),
Women
Involved in Life Learning from Other

Under Dana’s Executive Director
guidance, CWP has an established history
in the community, nationally and
internationally including the
implementation of SISTA abroad in Addis
Ababa, Ethiopia, in 2009 under the
National Alliance of State &
Technical AIDS Directors (NASTAD) as
well as traveling to Grand Anse, Grenada
for the Caribbean Coalition of National
AIDS Programme Coordinators
(CCNPPC). Dana’s implementation of
SISTA also includes “SISTA for Caribbean
Women of St. Kitts” in 2010 with the
Caribbean HIV & AIDS Alliance.
Dana Williams has served as a volunteer
for the American Red Cross, for over 15
year and has officiated on many local
and national advisory boards.

Mr. Burgos, one of the founders of The
Community Wellness Project and currently
serves as the Director of Outreach
Services. Mr. Burgos is an HIV/AIDS
prevention education specialist who is
nationally certified by the American Red
Cross as an African American/Hispanic
Instructor, and has extensive Substance
Abuse counseling experience. Mr. Burgos
also has widespread experience and
expertise in providing capacity building
assistance to Substance Abuse treatment
providers and HIV Substance Abuse
prevention education in both Spanish and
English. Mr. Burgos has assisted in
designing, implementing and facilitating
workshops, seminars, various support
groups, educational trainings on
HIV/AIDS and or HIV/Drug Education with
particular regard to Substance
Users/Abusers, high risk heterosexuals,
people living with HIV/AIDS, youth, men
who have sex with men (MSM) and
incarcerated or recently released men
and women in communities of color.
Additionally, Mr. Burgos has received
skills building certificates in
Substance Abuse Counseling. He is also a
Recognized Associates Substance Abuse
Counselor (R.A.S.A.C. I and II),
Certified Substance Abuse Counselor
(C.S.A.C.) ready from the Missouri
Substance Abuse Counselors Certification
Board (M.S.A.C.C.B). Mr. Burgos is a
Certified HIV/AIDS Rapid Testing Method
and referrals Counselor and certified
phlebotomist and Partner Solicitation.

Ms. Timika Edwards is an Intervention
Specialist for the Community Wellness
Project. She joined this organization in
November 2010. Ms. Edwards brings
counseling and prevention experiences in
both non-profit and for-profit companies
and organizations to the organization
with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in
Psychology, a Master's of Arts Degree in
Counseling, as well as a certificate in
Marriage and Family Therapy.
Previously, Ms. Edwards has assisted in
designing, implementing and facilitating
workshops, seminars, various support
groups for individuals affected or
infected by HIV/AIDS, high risk
heterosexuals, people living with
HIV/AIDS, youth, and men who have sex
with men (MSM) as well as other social
issues including cultural differences
and communication skills. Additionally,
Ms. Edwards has facilitated and
co-facilitated CDC programs including
Sisters Informing Sisters about Topics
on AIDS (SISTA) and Real AIDS Prevention
Program (RAPP).
Ms. Edwards has just returned to the
Saint Louis area, where she calls home.
Her immediate plans are to complete her
Ph.D. and continue to use her counseling
skills and experience for the good of
the community. She enjoys activities
such as reading, movies, volunteering
with youth, spending time with her
friends and family, and traveling. As a
compassionate individual, with numerous
qualifications, such as working well
with a diverse group of people,
research, speaking and presenting
abilities, and leadership experience,
Ms. Edwards readily and enthusiastically
joins The Community Wellness Project.

Mr. Kevin Bailey is an Intervention
Specialist for the Community Wellnes
Project. He joined the organization in
November of 2010. Mr. Bailey comes from
companies and educational entities such
as BJC HealthCare, Florida Agricultural
& Mechanical University, Covidien,
& the St. Louis Public Schools. Mr.
Bailey also brings over eight years of
community service experience with a
Bachelors of Art in Drama, Speech and
Communications. He also has experience
in non-profit companies and
organizations.
His immediate educational plans are to
obtain an M.A. in Non-Profit Management
from Washington University. Mr. Bailey's
life's goals are to continue being an
asset to his family, friends,
fraternity, church, and community. Kevin
is the proud parent of a nine year old
son. He enjoys spending time with family
and friends, traveling, playing cards,
and reading. His life motto is:
"Whatever you're looking for is looking
for you."
As a self-motivated purpose driven
individual Mr. Bailey is an excellent
fit for the Community Wellness Project.

Mr. Charles L. Fields Jr. is the
Financial Manager for the Community
Wellness Project. He joined this
prestigious organization in September
2006 coming from such major companies as
BJC HealthCare and KSDK News Channel 5.
Mr. Fields brings over 12 years of
Accounting Experience to the
organization with a Bachelor's of
Science Degree in Accounting and a
Masters Degree in Business
Administration. Also, he has experience
in both non-profit and for-profit
companies and organizations. His
immediate plans are to obtain a CPA and
continue to use his skills and
experience for the good of the
community. Charles is a happily married
and plans on starting a family with his
wife soon. He enjoys activities such as
working out, reading, science fiction
movies and traveling. As a self
motivated individual, with numerous
qualifications, such as working well
with people, writing and speaking
abilities, and leadership / management
experience, Mr. Fields is a perfect fit
for The Community Wellness Project.

Delphia A. Johnson is the Office
Manager for The Community Wellness
Project. A St. Louis native, Delphia
worked with two of the largest public
relations firms in Chicago for over 20
years as an Executive Assistant and
Project Coordinator. Delphia has also
worked with other community-based
organization during her tenure as well
serving as course registrar for a real
estate institute servicing real estate
investors and syndicates nationwide.
A seasoned veteran of the administrative
arena, Delphia's vast experience varies
from desktop publishing, new business
development, client management,
shorthand transcription as well as
website design and development. As
Office Manager of The Community Wellness
Project, Delphia's administrative
expertise is instrumental in the
assistance of outreach efforts,
coordination of master trainers travel
logistics, certification mailings as
well as all administrative
responsibilities for The Community
Wellness Project. Delphia is
exceptionally computer literate
affording her the ability to meet the
multi-faceted demand as Office Manager.
Additionally, Delphia has been the
recipient of the Employee of the Year
and Shorthand Proficient Awards. Delphia
is a graduate of Robert Morris College
Business School of Illinois.
